The hustle and bustle of the fast paced New York City lifestyle is an acquired taste, similar to the penchant for Fashion. However, passions for fashion aside, the designers at Style Fashion Week in New York City this year emitted a wide range of styles that were sure to please audiences from all walks of life.
Each year New York Fashion Week brings excitement and anticipation of new trends, fresh fashions, and reimagined styles of classic looks from previous generations. Designers from all over debut and showcase their latest collections for the upcoming season to industry insiders, media, fashion bloggers and buyers.  This year, Style Fashion Week brought us a variety of designers with diverse collections, each presenting alluring collections from the whimsical Childrens Couture Line by Elena, to the chic Ready to Wear Collection by Richard Hallmarq to the sassy and salacious line by Marco Marco, Style Fashion Week had it all.
While the fashions at Style Fashion Week NY were stunning, the inspiration and stories behind the clothes were just as captivating as the fashions themselves. Brands not only stood out for their innovative designs but also the designers’ position on topics like animal cruelty (as shown in Honee’s video presentation for her SS2018 Collection) and fabulously nonuniform model selections (presented in Marco Marco’s SS2018 Collection) leaving the crowd on their feet wanting more.
With such an array of talent no wonder Style Fashion Week went off with a bang. Fashion shows are anything but simple, like any event, it takes a village to make it all come together. Style Fashion Week was no different, with the Style staff, hair and make up, designer teams, production, models, media, volunteers and Team Lovegevity, including Fashion Show Production interns, it takes teamwork to make a dream work!

A big thanks to internship coordinator Abeki Carter, and Lovegevity Interns Naomi, Shakia, Katarzyna, Jennifer, Liliana, Adriana, Andrea, Brititania, Shayina, Mercedes, Tiffany, Christabel, Yajaira, Lorainne, Shambriel, Christina, Shakia, Kelsey, Chelsea, Cherisse, Cynthia, Ninoska, Tessie and all the FIT volunteers. Not only did the Interns and volunteers contribute to a successful event but the sponsors, the venue, the designers, the PR, and attendees all helped produce an amazing experience.

When all was said and done the Style Fashion Week crew were put to the ultimate challenge of working in the Go-Go-Go environment of the New York City regulars and did not disappoint.

Style Fashion Week NY 2017 was a fabulous experience that left everyone excited for the FW2019 collections to come in February 2018 when Style Fashion Week New York is back up and running with fresh Fall/ Winter Collections that will leave us wonderstruck with new inspirations.
